I really appreciate your taking the time to write to me. I need all the help I can get to promote interest in jewishstate.com.

You sound a bit upset with me and I sincerely apologize. I neglected to mention in my article that I have no reason to doubt that you truly love Israel.

Let me start by changing my terminology. I was not really discussing "demography". The conflict is between people who accept and embrace the Jewish State and those who want to destroy it; it is not a conflict about percentages of people of various religions or races. In any case, human DNA clearly shows that race does not exist. Furthermore, Jews with all kinds of noses and of all colors live in the Jewish State.

There is no reason for a struggle between Jews and moderate Muslims. Israel needs Zionist Muslims - lots of them - to help develop its economy. A stable population of Muslim Zionists will always be an extraordinary asset. Let them become the wealthiest citizens of the Jewish State, and let us applaud all of their successes.

I offer a simple guarantee for the internal security of the Jewish State: no one that works to undermine or destroy the Jewish State should be granted liberty of movement or operation. Involvement in anti-Zionist violence or brainwashing, for example, should not be tolerated anywhere in the Jewish State.

No one should be forcibly expelled. Anti-Zionist Israeli non-Jews should have the choice between polite, comfortable detention and life in any state that will accept them (possibly including that 99% of the Middle East which is in Arab hands).

The Jewish State does not exist to shelter the downtrodden anti-Semitic masses. They are not unwelcome in the rest of the world. To welcome chanting, anti-Semitic crowds equates with suicide, and nothing that entails suicide can be supported with assertions of moral superiority.

Anti-Zionist Jewish Israelis need deprogramming. It is not necessary to restrain an anti-Zionist Jew for a long time to liberate his original identity.

The world will condemn Israel for defending itself, this time on the internal front. It always condemns Jewish Devils who dare defend themselves. In fact, we should wear large buttons that say, "Jewish Devil who dares defend himself", and walk the streets with pride. The Jewish State exists so that the Jews have a place to escape the world's mindless hatred. The Jewish State must not bow to the international community's idea of morality.

Most of the time we feel like we are walking on eggshells, and we have to keep everybody happy to avoid our next beating. Many of the people that share your hopefulness about the intentions of Arab extremists have this frame of mind, which guarantees the perpetuation of traumatizing experiences.

I do not understand the last paragraph of your letter, but I get the impression that you would support defensive actions if Arab extremists did not change their ideology after the withdrawal from Gaza and four communities in Northern Samaria. However, do not expect Israel to have more international support for defensive actions because of the supposed moral soundness of the Sharon withdrawal. On the contrary, the world senses weakness already. Cannot you sense it? It is something like a person that turns and runs before an excited dog. Some people love to watch Arab extremists kill Jews, and to condemn the Jewish Devil for having the impudence to make a timid gesture of self defense. What is more satisfying for the ego than to cheer down a disoriented boxer perpetually sticking to a rope-a-dope strategy, hands down and open to all comers?
