Common mistakes in grammar and terminology that disrespect the Jewish State

"Jewish state" (small "s")

No, it's "Jewish State", a proper name. There are not two or five Jewish states, just one Jewish State. A small "s" denigrates the identity of the Jewish State. True anti-Semites, like the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church-USA, do not even mention the Jewish State and speak of Israel as if its mission were identical to that of France.

"Israel/Palestine" or "Israeli/Palestinian"

Creates the false idea that the Jewish State must somehow merge with the Arab Nation, or that the identity of the Jewish State should blend with an Arab identity. The term "Israel/Palestine" is used as a substitute for "Jewish State" by anti-Semites.

"Occupation of Palestinian lands"

In fact, Jews occupy the Jewish Homeland, which for many people constitutes illegal occupation. After defending itself against united, genocidal Arab armies, in several different wars, Israel seized vast areas formerly under Arab control. Because of its love of justice, Israel freely gave back almost all of this territory, making it difficult for itself to maintain a strategically tenable base.

Anti-Semites dispute any Israeli presence in Samaria, Judea, Gaza, or Tel Aviv. But they do not mention Tel Aviv. They merely point to the temporary cease-fire lines of 1949 and invite the Jews quietly to withdraw to those suicide lines. After that, the anti-Semites would gladly finish the "work" themselves.

"Settlement"

More appropriately, "Jewish community outside of the temporary cease-fire lines of 1949". At best, "Jewish community on territory disputed by the Arab states." "Settlement" carries so much baggage that the speaker automatically earns a place of honor at the council of anti-Semitic crusaders and jihadists.

"Fighter" or "Militant"

No, sorry anti-Semitic journalists, it's "terrorist". Any person who kills civilians to advance a political objective through intimidation qualifies for this term. That applies to killers of Jews just as much as killers of Europeans or Americans. But do not expect the European or extremely "liberal" press to change its terminology anytime soon.
